Children, My Serious Business

Teacher: my name tag represents my purpose.

Last Sunday I arrived prepared. The eight children ages 5-11 followed my plan.

Barely out the church door at the midweek Bible Study three meet me almost knocking me down, grabbing and jumping and all talking at once.

“We did it!” “We remembered our memory verse”. Brief pause, for a breath, “He said it first then I added the address”, states the older sister. Thrilled I realize what they are talking about and respond, “did you do it”? He answers, “yes, today, my mom and I got in a fight and I asked God for wisdom”.

James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom he should ask God.

Accomplished anything so rewarding lately?

When was the last time you applied what you learned and were so vibrantly thrilled at yourself?

Children, they are serious business. I influence the next generation.
